Närhälsan Norrmalm Health Center is a health center with approximately 13,500 registered patients in a central location in Skövde. Around 50 employees work here, including experienced district physicians, resident physicians, district nurses, specialist nurses, medical secretaries, nursing assistants, and our mental health team with psychologists, social workers, and psychiatric nurses. About the Position As a district nurse/registered nurse with us, you will have a varied and stimulating job where you meet patients of different ages and life situations. You work with health promotion, disease prevention, counseling, and treatment interventions within primary care's broad mission. Patient meetings take place via telephone, digital care visits, clinic appointments, and home visits. Work at Skövde emergency center may be included in your assignment. The work encompasses both acute and planned activities. You work independently with your own clinic where you assess, triage, treat, and follow up on patients. At the same time, you are an important part of the health center's team-based approach, where close collaboration between different professions contributes to continuity, knowledge exchange, and good care for patients. You also cooperate with external actors such as municipal health and medical services, home care services, and specialist care to create safe and well-functioning care processes. Together with colleagues and management, you contribute to the development of operations and to creating a workplace characterized by commitment, participation, and quality. Contributing to future competency supply is a natural part of our mission. Therefore, supervision of students and new colleagues is also included, which provides the opportunity to share knowledge and experience while developing in your professional role. About You You are a licensed registered nurse, preferably with specialist training as a district nurse or with experience from work at a health center. We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident making independent decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize your work tasks. In your work, you meet patients with many different needs. Therefore, it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. You need to enjoy teamwork and have an aptitude for collaboration. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing.
