About VC Avestahälsan
Vårdcentral Avestahälsan has been in operation since 2012 and currently has nearly 8,000 registered patients. We employ approximately 35 staff members including district physicians, ST physicians, AT physicians, BT physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapist, midwives, BVC nurses, district nurses with various specialty areas, advisory nurses, medical secretaries, counseling therapists, occupational therapist, and nursing assistants, as well as an in-house lab.

We are a privately owned primary care center with a healthcare choice agreement with Region Dalarna, so for individual patients, the same conditions, healthcare guarantees, and fees, etc. apply as in a publicly operated primary care center. Vårdcentral Avestahälsan is independent from large healthcare corporations and operates only in Avesta, but with many registered patients also from surrounding municipalities in southern Dalarna and northern Västmanland.

DISTRICT NURSE / NURSE
At Vårdcentral Avestahälsan, we have 6 district nurses, 2 midwives, and an additional 4 nurses. Several are specialized and further educated in BVC, diabetes, COPD/Asthma, dementia, incontinence, cardiac/vascular, mental health, and rehabilitation coordination. Additionally, we receive help from some enthusiastic retirees who occasionally assist with, primarily, vaccinations. Telephone advisory services are an important and significant task for all our nurses, regardless of specialty area.
We are now seeking a temporary district nurse / nurse due to upcoming parental leave.
Duties
Your responsibilities will include:
-Telephone advisory services.
-Nurse consultations
-Depending on your qualifications and previous experience, there is an opportunity to specialize in incontinence or hypertension/cardiac-vascular care.
Qualifications
Requirements
District nurse or nurse with several years of professional experience.
Desirable
Experience working in primary care and/or healthcare advisory services.
Personal Qualities
