We are looking for you to help shape the future health center with us. As a general practitioner at Varberga Health Center, you can take responsibility for maternal health clinics (MVC) or child health clinics (BVC) in combination with other primary care assignments. Varberga Health Center's catchment area is geographically large and extends from Närkes Kil and Mellringe to Hjärsta and Varberga. The health center currently has approximately 10,100 registered patients, where multiculturalism meets traditional society and apartments are mixed with single-family homes. The health center also has a significant municipal assignment. The health center's focus is to provide quality care, good relationships, and a positive work environment. The multicultural catchment area is reflected in a multicultural workplace where collaboration, community, and team spirit permeate our operations. Varberga Health Center's catchment area offers several development opportunities. There is already close collaboration between the health center, Örebro Municipality, civil society, and other actors. The health center also has good and close cooperation with the municipality through our shared family center. The aim is to develop cooperation with additional actors in order to work preventively and develop and promote health for patients in our catchment area. Job Responsibilities As a general practitioner at Varberga Health Center, you have great opportunities to influence your own schedule. You can choose to have a varied role where your own clinic alternates between scheduled and acute visits. Of course, there is also the opportunity to work with MVC, BVC, and municipal assignments. You have the option to work full-time with residential care facilities (SÄBO) or home care. There is also the opportunity to combine municipal assignments with developing a geriatric care unit at the health center. Time for continuing education and medical discussions with colleagues is scheduled at the health center's weekly physician meetings. We strive to make work well-defined with reasonable workload. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with specialist competence in general medicine. Previous work experience in primary care is a merit. You are confident in your professional role, are pedagogical, and enjoy sharing your knowledge. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, ability to collaborate, good communication, and willingness to develop. You have a positive and professional approach to your work, where the patient is in focus and your ethical values align with the operations we conduct.
