Do you enjoy tinkering, fixing things, and solving problems that come your way? Then this could be the job for you, even if you've never heard of a Distribution Electrician before. As a Distribution Electrician, you ensure electricity gets where it needs to go. One day you might be out troubleshooting after a power outage, the next day you're building new infrastructure or improving the electrical grid for the future. You work close to nature, enjoy great autonomy in your daily work, and become part of a team that helps each other. As a Distribution Electrician, you work on service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and new construction in electrical networks between 0.4–40 kV. It's hands-on work where you use both your hands and your mind to solve problems and create safe, sustainable solutions for our customers. For those with experience in the role who want to take on more responsibility, there are opportunities to work as an electrical safety manager with responsibility for contracted personnel and subcontractors. You will primarily work in your local area and return home the same day, though longer trips may occur when the business needs it. We use home-based work, so you depart directly from home with your service vehicle. On-call duty may also be part of the role. Requirements As a Distribution Electrician with us, you are our most important asset for the work performed in the field.
