We are now seeking an engaged and driven Digitalization and Information Security Strategist who wants to contribute to developing and strengthening our operations' ability for secure information management and drive the municipality's digital transformation. The position is placed in the municipality's development department, which is part of the municipal administration in Torsås Municipality. 1 position(s). RESPONSIBILITIES As a Digitalization and Information Security Strategist, you have a central role in Torsås Municipality's development work. You are responsible for driving the municipality's digital development while leading and coordinating work within information security, data protection, and cybersecurity. The role involves many contact points and close collaboration with operations, managers, IT functions, and external suppliers. You work both strategically and operatively to create efficient working methods, secure information management, and a robust digital environment that meets today's and tomorrow's requirements. In the role, you will, among other things: • Drive and coordinate the municipality's digitalization work and development initiatives. • Identify, analyze, and translate operations' needs into concrete development initiatives. • Lead change work related to digital working methods and processes. • Develop and follow up on the municipality's digitalization action plan. • Participate in procurement and requirement setting for digital services and systems. • Lead the municipality's information security work in accordance with applicable regulations. • Develop and manage governance documents, procedures, and training initiatives. • Coordinate work on data protection and support operations in GDPR matters. • Ensure that the municipality meets requirements under the Cybersecurity Act and develops its cybersecurity. • Participate in work with security protection and signal protection and follow up on compliance. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who wants to combine development, security, and business value in a socially important assignment. You have the ability to see the whole picture and translate strategies and regulations into concrete activities and results. You find it easy to create good relationships and provide qualified support to operations in matters spanning multiple areas. We see that you have: • Relevant academic education or equivalent experience in digital development, information security, IT, law, or business development. • Experience in digitalization, business development, or change management. • Knowledge of information security, data protection, and cybersecurity. • Good ability to work both strategically and operatively. • Good communication skills in speech and writing in Swedish. It is advantageous if you have: • Experience from the public sector. • Knowledge of Open ePlatform. • Knowledge of MCF regulations and recommendations. • Experience working with GDPR, NIS2, cybersecurity issues, security protection, and signal protection.
