What We Offer
At Complior, you'll have a central role in a business-critical platform where improvements are directly visible in operations and delivery. We offer:
An experienced tech lead who provides clear technical direction and acts as a sounding board
Existing automation that works but needs to be structured, improved, and further developed
Work close to actual operations with the opportunity to influence the entire infrastructure
Opportunity to work with cryptography, HSM, KMS, and security and compliance matters in practice
Certification and training budget
What the Role Entails
As a DevOps Engineer at Complior, you'll work in an on-premises dual data center environment with approximately 850 virtual servers, both Linux and Windows, under all of Complior's security requirements. The platform is stable and well-functioning, but needs modern, scalable, and systematic solutions for automation.
Your main responsibilities:
Translate architecture decisions into robust IaC
Automate operations in a regulated environment where changes must be traceable, controlled, and well-documented
Develop, improve, and standardize tools and workflows for configuration, deployment, and monitoring
Write and debug code in PowerShell, Bash, and/or Python
Work with Ansible, Git, and other DevOps tools
Document as a natural part of your work
Use AI tools professionally — with an understanding of what is generated and why
You work closely with operations, security, compliance, and system owners, and drive technical improvements throughout the entire chain.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with several years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure automation, or similar technical roles. We're less interested in formal education and more interested in practical skills and proven results.
To thrive and succeed in this role, you need to:
Be confident with both Linux and Windows Server in production
Be able to work independently based on clear technical direction
Have very strong proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, and/or Python
Have worked with Ansible, Git, and IaC
Feel comfortable in an environment where security, regulation, and control are central
Have discipline around logging, documentation, and version control
Understand AI tools and be able to use them professionally — without being dependent on them
Meritorious:
Experience with networking, VLANs, segmentation, and firewalls
Experience managing secrets in automation such as HSM/KMS
Experience with API integrations in production environments
Background from PCI DSS, ISO 27001, or other regulated environments
We're looking for someone who wants to build something long-term — someone who values order, stability, and traceability, but also enjoys working in a team that actually gets things done.
