Responsibilities: In your role as Deli Department Manager, you will play a key role in creating and maintaining a first-class customer experience. Your main areas of responsibility include: · Leading the Deli Department with a focus on quality and service. · Planning and managing the product range to ensure variety and availability. · Overseeing cutting, packaging, and presentation of delicacies to the highest standards. · Proactively offering advice and sales support to customers. · Ensuring the deli counter is always well-stocked, clean, and attractive. · Managing and coordinating Deli, production, and Picadeli operations. Personal Qualities: We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, engaged, and has a strong focus on both customer and team success. The personal qualities we value include: · Flexibility to handle workload and store hours, including weekends. · Positive attitude and ability to create a welcoming atmosphere. · Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with both colleagues and customers. Qualifications: To be a strong candidate for this management role, you should have: · Experience working in deli or a similar area. · Ability to lead and organize work within the department. · Knowledge of food hygiene and self-inspection (advantageous). · Willingness to take initiative and drive improvements within the department. Start date end of September or by agreement. A one-year full-time temporary position with a strong possibility of extension.
