About the Job You will work with BI development in an agile development team where you collectively take responsibility for the team's deliverables while keeping the bigger picture in mind and contributing to a well-functioning society. In your role, you'll help develop solutions for those who file taxes, start and run businesses, move, get married, etc. You have the freedom to organize your work within the team and work together toward a common goal. The team is cross-functional and there are opportunities to specialize in different areas. We have a long-term assignment and are investing in sustainable, future-proof solutions with minimized technical debt. Societal benefit is always our focus. We are in the midst of an ongoing system modernization where we are introducing modern technology and developing our architecture. The development environment includes Red Hat OpenShift, Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, Java, Spring Boot, Python, and SQL. Your primary work will involve preparing analysis materials, monitoring, and selection. With us, you'll have the opportunity for continuous development and learning on the job. About You To do a good job and thrive with us at the Swedish Tax Agency, you need to be receptive, think innovatively, and take responsibility. In this role, you should: - Have good collaboration skills, be helpful, and have good interpersonal skills - Have the ability and willingness to learn new things, be flexible, and be open to change - Have good problem-solving skills, see patterns, and be able to make delimitations - Be goal-focused and contribute to achieving the purpose of the business - Act consciously and professionally based on good self-awareness - Express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish You should also have: - Post-secondary education in computer science/data science or other post-secondary education with specialization in data and analysis - Several years of current and relevant work experience as a data engineer/BI developer, preferably from a government agency, bank, insurance company, pharmaceutical company, or similar organization - Several years of current and relevant database knowledge It is desirable that you have an interest in statistics and an interest in understanding how a larger organization works together. Good to Know The employment is permanent and may start with a six-month probationary period. Employment with us may involve placement in a security classification. A security vetting with record check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted prior to an employment decision.
