About the Position
Manager of Daily Operations, Tobiasgården, Kungälv
About the Organization
Stiftelsen Tobiasgården operates LSS activities in the form of two group homes and a Daily Operations program. Tobiasgården also runs a small farm with cows, sheep, horses, chickens, and rabbits. The farm serves as the center for daily operations and creates natural work tasks. There are also vegetable gardens, fields, pastures, and some forest. Residents also have the opportunity during their free time to interact with the animals and enjoy the beautiful nature where the organization is located.
Tobiasgården is operated as a foundation and is an anthroposophic, mission-driven organization. The farm is operated ecologically/biodynamically. Tobiasgården has existed since 1988.
The foundation's mission statement:
"The foundation's purpose is to offer care, education, and daily activities according to anthroposophic therapeutic pedagogy/social therapy methods in combination with biodynamic farming, in service to the community, to children and adults in need."
As manager of Tobiasgården's Daily Operations, you will be part of a management group and thus work closely with the manager of the group homes as well as representatives from the board. One of the core principles is a holistic perspective, where caring for animals and nature has a positive impact on us as humans, and it is therefore also important to preserve the farm and garden.
In the Daily Operations program, residents have their workplace. Five additional participants join during the day. In total, there are twelve positions in the Daily Operations program. They work on the farm, in the garden, in the kitchen, or with crafts according to their preferences and abilities.
