Tire Technician in Kronoberg County

As a tire technician with our clients in Kronoberg County, you will become an important part of a team during the busy tire season. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In your role as a tire technician, you are responsible for the entire tire change process. Work is performed according to applicable safety procedures with customer safety as the priority. Your main responsibilities include: Replacing complete wheels on passenger cars and light vehicles. Removing and mounting tires on rims using machinery. Balancing wheels to prevent vibration and wear. Inspecting tread depth, tire pressure, and general condition of tires. Performing basic administration and registration in customer systems. Cleaning tires and rims before storage in tire storage facilities. Maintaining order and cleanliness in the workplace. PERSONAL QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone in good physical condition, as heavy lifting and an ergonomically demanding work environment occur daily. You have a genuine interest in cars and mechanics, and a desire to deliver high-quality services even during periods of high workload. To succeed in this role, we see that you meet the following: Previous experience in tire service or training in vehicle mechanics is desirable. Documented experience using torque wrenches and wheel balancing machines. Good ability to understand and follow technical instructions in Swedish. Valid driver's license (category B) to be able to move vehicles within the workshop area. As a person, you are punctual, stress-tolerant, and possess good teamwork skills. You are customer-service oriented in your dealings with customers and colleagues and take initiative to drive work forward when needed.
