Are you a skilled bicycle mechanic who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and delivering work you're proud of? Then you might be who we're looking for.
Mohlins Cykel & Motor has been around since 1924 and is currently in an exciting phase of development. The business is growing and evolving, which is why we're now looking for an additional bicycle mechanic for our shop and workshop in Sölvesborg.
With us, you'll work in a well-equipped workshop handling everything from everyday commuter bikes and children's bikes to e-bikes, MTB, gravel bikes, and advanced road bikes.
Your workday is varied. One moment you're dealing with a puncture or routine service, the next you're troubleshooting an e-bike or working on modern electronic drivetrains.
Your responsibilities
Service and repair of all types of bicycles
Troubleshooting e-bikes and electrical systems
Assembly and delivery inspection of new bikes
Gearing, brake, and drivetrain work
Customer contact and advice
Contribute to organization and structure in the workshop
Ensure work is completed with high quality and safety standards
Assist customers in the shop
We're looking for someone who
Has experience working as a bicycle mechanic or in a similar technical profession. You need to be thorough, responsible, and solution-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and with others.
You have a good understanding of modern bicycle components and an interest in technical developments in bicycles and e-bikes.
You need to be able to communicate in Swedish or English.
Additional merits
Experience or training in areas such as Shimano, Bosch, or other e-bike systems, electronic gear systems, hydraulic brakes, and modern MTB, gravel, and road bikes is an asset.
Experience with workshop operations, customer service, cash handling, and computers is also a plus.
