Mohlins Cykel & Motor has been around since 1924 and is currently in an exciting development phase. The business is growing and evolving, and we're now looking for an additional bicycle mechanic for our shop and workshop in Kristianstad.
With us, you'll work in a well-equipped workshop handling everything from everyday bikes and children's bikes to e-bikes, MTBs, gravel bikes, and advanced racing bikes.
Your workday is varied. One moment you're dealing with a puncture or routine service, the next you're troubleshooting an e-bike or working on a modern electronic drivetrain.
Your responsibilities
Service and repair of all types of bicycles
Troubleshooting e-bikes and electrical systems
Assembly and quality checks on new bicycles
Gear, brake, and drivetrain work
Customer communication and advice
Contribute to order and organization in the workshop
Ensure that completed work meets high quality and safety standards
We're looking for someone who
Has experience working as a bicycle mechanic or in a similar technical field. You need to be thorough, responsible, and solution-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and with others.
You have a good understanding of modern bicycle components and an interest in technical developments in bikes and e-bikes.
You must be able to communicate in Swedish or English.
Additional qualifications
Experience or training with Shimano, Bosch, or other e-bike systems, electronic shifting systems, hydraulic brakes, and modern MTB, gravel, and racing bikes is a plus.
Experience with workshop operations, customer service, cash handling, and computer work is also an advantage.
