We are looking for an engaged cyber defense leader who wants to lead and develop our operational cybersecurity center at a time when the threat landscape against critical infrastructure is increasing. About the role of cyber defense leader As a cyber defense leader, you have overall responsibility for leading, developing, and quality-assuring our operational cybersecurity center. You work to identify, analyze, and manage security incidents, develop processes and procedures to meet new threats, and continuously train and educate our employees in dealing with today's advanced cyber threats. The role does not include formal personnel responsibility, but you have a clear responsibility to coordinate, guide, and support the resources working operationally in the cybersecurity center as well as employees working to continuously strengthen our operational capabilities. You will be an operational leader and contribute to planning, prioritizing, and following up on work that strengthens our detection, incident response, and response capabilities. Training, testing, and supporting the organization on security matters is also part of our work to protect national critical infrastructure. You will be part of the Information and Cybersecurity group, with employees located in both Karlstad and Stockholm, working according to a clear, agile model with structure and speed. We are tomorrow's security department—constantly ready to challenge traditional ways of working and implement innovative solutions, both in our systems and in how we collaborate across functions. The team consists of engaged specialists and coaches who together build a resilient and modern cyber defense. Who are you? You are analytical and solution-oriented, with several years of experience in SOC, cybersecurity, or IT security—preferably within security-classified operations. You work in a structured and thorough manner, and have the ability to remain calm and make wise decisions even under pressure. Integrity and professionalism are natural parts of your work approach. You enjoy collaborating with others and building strong relationships, both internally and externally.
