Do you want to lead and develop Operations in an international technology company? As COO at Nordisk Clean Solutions, you have overall responsibility for the entire operations – from R&D and product development to Order Management, Production, Supply Chain, and Technical Support & Service. Together with your management team, you set direction, drive development, and deliver results – with significant opportunities to influence the company's continued growth. YOUR DAILY WORK As COO, you have overall responsibility for Operations and lead the operations management team at the factory in Malmö. The management team includes the heads of Production, Technical Support & Service, Order Management, Supply Chain, and R&D. Your mission is to lead, coach, and develop your managers and, together with them, translate the company's goals into clear priorities that deliver results. You are responsible for ensuring that operations function as a cohesive whole. This includes developing factory operations with a focus on production output, quality, cost, capacity utilization, and safety, as well as ensuring the right priorities in NCS product development programs and technical roadmaps with a focus on time-to-market. In this role, you combine a holistic perspective with closeness to operations. You ask the right questions, challenge and prioritize while giving your managers the mandate and support to develop within their respective areas. When different needs compete for attention, you create clarity and make the decisions that move operations forward. Together with the management team, you monitor operations through relevant KPIs and drive continuous improvements. You work closely with the CEO, CSO, and other functions and contribute as a member of the company's management team to NCS overall development and objectives. WHO ARE YOU? We are looking for someone with relevant academic training, for example in mechanical engineering or industrial economics, and at least ten years of experience in leading roles within Operations in manufacturing – preferably in capital equipment or precision manufacturing. You have experience managing production, workplace environment and safety, quality and cost, as well as supply chain and supplier management. You have solid experience leading and developing managers and are used to delivering results together with a management team. You set clear expectations, follow up and coach while giving your managers the mandate to develop their respective operations. You also have experience leading cross-functionally and creating alignment between different functions. You have experience with product ownership and R&D leadership as well as driving a product roadmap from development to market launch. Experience in Technical Service & Support is a merit, preferably from an operation where customer contact and service occur through distributors' sales and technical organizations and where ongoing technical training and support are an important part of the collaboration. We also view positively experience from operations in transformation, where you have driven efficiency and development with good cost control. As a leader, you are clear, present, and coaching with a structured and results-oriented approach. You are comfortable close to operations without getting caught up in details and know when to challenge and support – and when your managers and specialists should own the issue. You are business-minded and understand how operational decisions impact customers, delivery, and profitability. Your technical understanding allows you to conduct qualified discussions about product and process decisions. You are decisive and can manage multiple parallel priorities while maintaining focus on long-term goals. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. WANT TO KNOW MORE?
