To meet this development, we are now looking for a business-driven and results-oriented COO who wants to take a central role in the company's continued journey. About the Position As COO at Akademi NÄRA, you will have a key role in the group's continued development and become a close collaborator with the CEO. The role involves significant autonomy to independently drive and develop operations while ensuring conditions for continued growth and high operational efficiency. While the CEO is responsible for the company's overall strategy, acquisition agenda, integration work, and long-term development, you as COO will focus on daily operations, leadership of subsidiary managers, and ensuring that operations perform according to set targets. You will have a central role in ensuring that the organization is equipped for continued expansion while maintaining focus on profitability, occupancy rates, capacity utilization, and operational development. Responsibilities • Lead and develop operational activities within the group • Exercise chief-over-chief leadership and develop the group's subsidiary managers • Ensure high occupancy rates and optimal capacity utilization in operations • Drive commercial development and ensure operations work toward clear performance targets • Monitor key metrics, budgets, and financial targets while actively working to increase profitability • Support operations on matters related to talent supply, planning, and resource optimization • Identify improvement areas and drive development initiatives that strengthen organizational efficiency • Ensure the group has the right structure and working methods to meet future growth and new acquisitions • Provide strategic and operational support to the CEO and management team Suitable Background • Academic degree in economics, organization, leadership, or equivalent field • Documented experience with chief-over-chief leadership • Several years of experience in a leading position with operational and results responsibility • Strong experience in operational management and monitoring through KPIs and key metrics • Good understanding of finance, budgeting, profitability management, and business decision-making • Experience in change management and organizational development Meritorious • Experience from acquisition-driven or decentralized organizations • Experience with integrating operations following company acquisitions Personal Qualities We are looking for someone with a strong business focus who is driven by achieving results.
