Then you might be the person we're looking for! We're now seeking a Controller for Nordfin Capital's headquarters, located at Lindholmspiren in Gothenburg. You'll join a warm and unpretentious team with great development potential in this role.
As a Controller at Nordfin Capital, you're responsible for both Accounting and Business Controlling. A key part of the role is to take over accounting from external parties and build efficient internal financial processes. You have full responsibility for the company's financial reporting and serve as an important business partner to management.
Main responsibilities:
· Accounting & Financial Statements: Ongoing bookkeeping and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for five companies
· Legal Reporting: Annual reports, tax filings, and VAT/tax reporting
· Business Controlling: Profitability and results analysis, KPI tracking, and decision support
· Budget & Forecasting: Budget processes, cash flow forecasting, and business models in close collaboration with the CEO
· Process Development: Implement and improve routines and system support within the finance function
· External Relations: Point of contact with auditors, banks, and payroll partners
Personal qualities and qualifications
We're looking for an unpretentious, driven, and organized person who appreciates order and structure, but also has the ability to take a step back and see the business value behind the numbers.
To succeed in this role, you're self-driven, quality-conscious, and have strong collaboration skills. You have several years of experience as a qualified accounting professional or finance manager with extensive knowledge of financial statement preparation and annual reports.
You also have experience with—or a strong interest in—business controlling and financial analysis, strong Excel skills, and experience building and developing financial processes. You're fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Experience from factoring, fintech, banking, or collections is a plus.
