Do you have experience with CNC machining and are comfortable independently programming, planning, and finding solutions for complex parts? Would you like to work in a technologically advanced environment where assignments vary and your CNC machining expertise can really shine? We're now looking for you to take an independent and qualified role at Cliff Models in Torslanda.
About the Position:
Professionals Nord, in collaboration with Cliff Models, is seeking an experienced CNC operator/CNC programmer. You'll get a broad and independent role where you work with the entire process – from analyzing customer specifications and planning production to programming, machining, and quality control of finished parts.
Cliff Models primarily works with unique and customer-tailored assignments rather than traditional series production. This means you need to be able to assess how a part is best manufactured, choose an appropriate machining strategy, and independently program based on the specifications you receive. The role is therefore perfect for you if you appreciate technical challenges and enjoy finding solutions when each assignment has its own conditions.
You will work with both traditional machine shop equipment, advanced freeform machinery, and 5-axis CNC machines. The work occurs in close collaboration with colleagues on technical solutions, while you're expected to independently drive your own projects from specifications to finished part.
The position is full-time, Monday–Friday 06.30–15.30, with flexibility options.
About Cliff Models:
Cliff Models has spent over 25 years building strong expertise in design, modeling, and tool preparation, primarily for the automotive industry. Since 2010, the company has been run by former employees who chose to further develop the business.
The operation is characterized by problem-solving and creating unique solutions based on customer needs. Cliff Models works with a variety of materials, including wood, clay, rubber, hard plastics, carbon and glass fiber, acrylic, and nylon.
Your Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize machining strategies
Select tools and methods for current machining
Fixture design and adaptation
Setup, adjustment, and operation of machines

We're Looking for You If You:
Have experience with CNC machining
Have solid experience with CNC programming and planning
Are comfortable independently planning and executing machining based on technical specifications
Have a good understanding of cutting processes, tool selection, and machining strategies
Are technically interested and solutions-oriented
Work in a structured and thorough manner
Enjoy taking ownership and driving work forward
Have good communication skills and enjoy collaborating with colleagues
Have a B-class driver's license
Speak and write Swedish and English well
It's a Plus If You Have:
Experience with Autodesk PowerMill
Experience with 5-axis CNC machining
Experience with advanced milling and complex geometries
Experience from machine shop, modeling, or automotive industry
Experience with fixture design
As a person, you're thorough, technically curious, and solutions-oriented. You enjoy working independently and appreciate being faced with new technical challenges. Because many of the assignments are unique, we believe you're someone who enjoys analyzing problems, finding the right machining method, and translating your ideas into practical solutions. At the same time, you're unpretentious and enjoy collaborating and exchanging experiences with your colleagues.
