* Montico is now seeking a CNC operator in turning and milling for an established and growing industrial company in Laxå. Here you'll have the opportunity to work with advanced machining in a modern machine shop and become part of a skilled team with a strong focus on quality and precision. About the Position As a CNC operator, you will work with both turning and milling of complex parts in steel, aluminum, stainless steel, copper, and brass. You will set up, run, and monitor CNC machines and ensure that production meets the correct quality standards according to drawings and specifications. The machine shop is modern with control systems that are primarily Okuma on the turning side and Heidenhain on the milling side. Measurement and quality controls are a natural part of the daily work. The position is based on day shift, though two-shift operation may occur as needed. You will be employed by Montico and work as a consultant at the client company. The assignment is long-term, and for the right person, there are good opportunities for direct employment with the client company. Job Description In this role, you will, among other things: - Set up and operate CNC machines for turning and milling. - Monitor production and ensure correct quality. - Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. - Perform measurements and quality controls. - Work with varying parts and materials. - Contribute to efficient and quality-focused production. We're Looking for You We seek someone with CNC machining experience who is comfortable in a machine shop environment. You have a good understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and quality work, and you enjoy taking responsibility for your work. We would like to see that you: - Have experience with CNC turning and/or CNC milling. - Can read and interpret technical drawings. - Have experience with measuring techniques and quality controls. - Have a forklift license and sling certification. - Have a driver's license (Category B) and access to a car. - Are thorough, responsible, and quality-minded. - Have a technical interest and want to continue developing in CNC. Experience with Okuma and/or Heidenhain controlled machines is a merit.
