Studieförbundet Folkuniversitetet conducts adult education and lifelong learning throughout Sweden. Our mission is to provide people with the conditions for a richer life through knowledge and creativity. Knowledge transforms. Responsibilities: • Teaching, preparation, planning, and follow-up work. Participate in development work as agreed • Quality assurance through gathering participant expectations before courses and evaluations after courses end. • Participant contact between lessons related to course content, such as preparations or assignments Qualifications: Circle leaders at Folkuniversitetet must have upon hire: • Pedagogical experience. • Subject matter expertise/work experience in the subject • Preferably experience with and active interest in adult education • Basic IT skills Desirable personal qualities include the will and ability to work independently as well as in groups, good social skills, strong initiative, a positive attitude toward change and development, and an ethical approach. Folkuniversitetet in Nyköping conducts open course activities in several different subjects. We continuously work to develop our course offerings and would like to hear from you if you can work with adult education in circle format, a few hours per week—evening sessions teaching beginner-level Yoga for the fall course launch (starting in September).
