Additional Details: We are looking for an empathetic yet strong person who enjoys being a support system for children, a partner to educators, and who understands that outdoor experiences provide children with the best preparation for their future: sensitivity and resilience, self-care skills, a connection to nature, and the ability to cooperate. Work in nature is healing, but also physically demanding. To meet our needs, we utilize heated facilities at our forest preschool. Children and we experience open fires, morning dew, the scent of smoldering leaves, sledding, movement by water and on ice. Rituals and a sense of belonging are our way of experiencing each day with the children.
