Job description
Center-wide Medical Leadership Officer (MLA) is a newly established position in the form of a part-time assignment that can be combined with clinical work at one of the center's clinics.
In your role as MLA, you are responsible for the Psychiatry Center's strategic medical quality assurance work. You provide support to the MLA, CHÖL and managers in the Psychiatry Center's operations. In your work, you will collaborate with other healthcare centers, municipalities and authorities on medical matters, and assist the production unit manager in writing material for governance documents and directives. This also includes working with interface issues, reviewing national clinical knowledge supports, and representing the Psychiatry Center both nationally and in the southeastern healthcare region. Since this is a newly established position, you will also help shape the content and development of the role.
MLA assignments for center-wide clinical tasks may also be included.
Work group
You will be part of the center's management group consisting of operations managers, production unit manager, deputy production unit manager, HR manager, finance manager and development manager.
About you
We are looking for you who are a specialist physician in adult psychiatry and have previous clinical experience within the field. It is meritorious if you are a double specialist within psychiatric specialties and have previous experience in medical leadership and/or line management.
For this assignment, you are required to have a good command of Swedish in both speech and writing, and a basic prerequisite is that you have great commitment to the Psychiatry Center's mission and target group.
As a person, you are confident and have good judgment, see the bigger picture and take a broader perspective into account. You have good collaboration skills, communicate clearly and enjoy working in teams. It is also important that you are unpretentious and see constructive feedback as a natural part of daily work for both your own and others' development. You can plan, organize and prioritize your work and you enjoy working with development.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
Application and employment
You will receive a permanent employment within Region Östergötland in your base profession and in addition a supplementary assignment as center-wide MLA.
Interviews are planned to be conducted in the afternoon of September 24 and in the afternoon of September 29.
Before employment in patient-facing work within Region Östergötland, you will be asked to complete a health declaration.
