As a Category Manager, you will work closely with operations and be part of our strategic team. The role involves a clear strategic focus where you independently develop and implement category strategies. The Category Manager role is new to our team and is part of building our strategic procurement function. Your main areas of responsibility: Independently develop and implement category strategies to create value for Vattenfall Hydropower Independently lead framework procurement processes Work closely with operations and ensure alignment of strategies and development of working methods Build and develop both internal and supplier relationships, including partnerships where commercially justified You will be part of a growing team and play an important role in an ongoing transformation where new ways of working are being established. Requirements We are looking for someone with work experience implementing category management and a strategic perspective with the ability to translate strategy into reality. We further seek someone with: Experience in strategic procurement and implementation of category management Several years of experience with AB04/ABT06 contracts Experience with change management Academic education (e.g., engineering, business, or law) or equivalent work experience Communication skills in both Swedish and English Category B driver's license It is highly meritorious if you also have experience in sales and project management as well as experience from the energy sector.
