C-Class Truck Driver for Uppdraget – a job where no two days are the same Pallets of mortar to central Gothenburg, steel beams between surrounding municipalities, sensitive technical equipment from industry to research centers, or lumber to a villa in Onsala. We are now seeking a service-oriented and self-directed C-class truck driver who wants to become part of our team in Gothenburg. With us, you are not just the one driving the vehicle – you are an important part of the entire delivery and the company's face to the customer. About the Job Uppdraget is a Gothenburg-based courier and transport company that has delivered transport with high demands on service, punctuality, and quality since 1985. With a total of over 300 recurring customers across most industries, it means you get a varied workday with different types of cargo, customers, and assignments. As a driver for us, you work closely with our traffic control and our customers. Therefore, you need to be able to take responsibility on the road while also communicating well with colleagues in the office. A typical workday may include: Local and regional transports in Gothenburg and surrounding areas Loading and unloading different types of cargo Deliveries to companies, construction sites, industries, and private individuals Contact with customers during pickups and deliveries Ensuring that cargo is handled carefully and arrives on time Ongoing contact with traffic control throughout the day Who Are You? You are in contact with traffic control, customers, and colleagues and understand the importance of keeping everyone informed. Service-Oriented You are Uppdraget's face to the outside and meet many different types of customers during a workday. You are professional, friendly, and solution-oriented. Independent and Responsible You can plan and execute your transports well and take responsibility for both vehicle and cargo. Organized Our customers hire us because they can trust that their cargo will arrive completely, clean, and on time. That trust starts with you as a driver. Flexible No two days are exactly alike. You need to thrive with variation and be able to handle both planned transports and situations that require quick solutions. We Are Looking for Someone Who Has C-Class Driver's License Valid YKB (Certificate of Professional Competence) Valid Digital Tachograph Card Good Swedish in speech and writing Good local knowledge of Gothenburg and surrounding areas Experience in the driving profession is a merit (but not necessary) CE-Class Driver's License is a merit (but not necessary) The most important thing for us is that you are reliable, responsible, and have the right attitude toward customers and colleagues.
