About the Workplace
Byjorden City Health Center is an established primary care clinic with a central location in the heart of Köping. We have approximately 8,600 registered patients and around 25 employees.
With us, specialists in general medicine and resident physicians work together with district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, social workers, and psychotherapists. Our operations also include a child health center and midwifery clinic.
This gives us broad expertise under one roof and excellent conditions for close collaboration around our patients.
We value an open and approachable work environment where it is natural to ask each other questions, discuss patient cases, and help one another when needed. We believe that job satisfaction, good relationships, and a well-functioning team are essential prerequisites for offering our patients high-quality care.
Job Responsibilities
As a physician at Byjorden City Health Center, you will have broad and varied work within general medicine, with the opportunity to follow your patients over time and create the continuity that is an important part of primary care.
You work independently with your clinic while also having easy access to colleagues and other professions when collaboration and joint assessments are needed.
We continuously work to develop our methods to create an accessible and modern primary care system while maintaining a sustainable work environment for our employees.
With us, the path from idea to decision is short. We appreciate initiative and new thinking, and we want our employees to feel that they have the opportunity to influence both their own work day and the clinic's continued development.
For you as a resident physician nearing the end of your specialist training, we adapt the position based on where you are in your education and create good conditions for your continued path toward specialist competence.

We are seeking you if you are a specialist in general medicine or a resident physician in general medicine nearing the end of your residency.
