About the Role
As a Building Technician, you are responsible for maintenance, improvements and minor construction projects within our property portfolio.
The role is varied and combines practical work with planning, coordination and cost-conscious material selection.
You work closely with both internal operations and external partners to ensure safe, functional and well-maintained properties. You will also receive training in our internal systems, such as Maximo and Citect.
Your Main Responsibilities
Project manage minor works such as flooring, roofing, painting and other building technical tasks.
Collaborate with external suppliers and contractors, including pest control services.
Plan, coordinate and implement property improvements and building-related maintenance work.
Ensure cost-effective material selection and contribute to sustainable property management.
Perform inspections, troubleshooting and maintenance of buildings and property-related installations.
Who Are You?
You have building technical education or equivalent competence and at least 10 years of experience within the construction or property sector.
You have good knowledge in one or more areas such as carpentry, sheet metal work, concrete work or roofing.
You hold a B-class driver's license and are comfortable combining practical work with planning and coordination.
You communicate fluently in Swedish and have basic knowledge of English.
You work safely, with quality awareness and are comfortable working at heights and heavy lifting.
Experience in project management is a merit.
Who Are We?
We are an operations department within Electrical, Plumbing and Building that works daytime hours and operates from our workshop. The work is characterized by significant personal responsibility with daily planning of both scheduled and urgent tasks.
The team consists of 14 employees with different competencies, where collaboration, helpfulness and teamwork are a natural part of everyday work. We are looking for someone who is proactive, empathetic and enjoys working together with others toward common goals.
