We are seeking an experienced construction project manager who wants to take responsibility for driving and developing our construction projects from start to finish. Here you will have the opportunity to influence the city's development and contribute to building the future of Västerås.
Your Responsibilities
You will lead and coordinate construction projects throughout the entire process. From design to handover to operations management, you ensure that projects are implemented according to applicable regulations and objectives while managing project economics, timelines, and quality.
In this role, you will also handle procurement, construction law, and work strategically for sustainable and cost-effective solutions. You maintain many contacts both with colleagues throughout the organization and external parties such as contractors. You present materials to the board and other decision-makers and play a significant role in the group's development by actively contributing to continuous improvements in our working methods and processes.
Your Qualifications
You lead your projects with clarity and good structure and adapt well to changing circumstances. In projects and operations, you have the ability to see the bigger picture and often come up with creative solutions while adhering to rules and guidelines. Collaboration is important to you, and you are skilled at creating and maintaining good working relationships.
You have an academic degree in construction or equivalent professional experience and experience managing construction projects as a construction project manager. You hold BAS-P and BAS-U certifications, have knowledge of construction law, and a strong understanding of all aspects of the construction process. It is a great advantage if you have participated in procurement according to LOU or LUF and previously worked in a politically governed organization. We also view it positively if you have knowledge of environmental building and have worked with sustainability issues.
You will drive a car as part of your work and therefore need a Class B driver's license.

Additional Information
During the interview, you will need to verify your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or certificate of citizenship along with an ID document.
