The Environment and Urban Planning Office is a pleasant workplace with six dedicated employees and broad expertise in environmental, building, and community matters. We work with supervision, permitting, consulting, and information within the areas of food safety, health protection, environmental protection, planning and building, as well as energy and climate consulting.
Now we are looking for a building inspector who wants to be part of our team!
Responsibilities
As a building inspector, you will have a central role in the municipality's community development work. You will primarily work with case handling and supervision according to the Planning and Building Act. The responsibilities include, among other things, exercising authority, making decisions within delegation, as well as preparing and presenting cases for the Environment and Building Committee.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is trained as a building inspector and wants to develop further in the profession. You are engaged, driven, and have good judgment in the exercise of authority. Experience with similar work within municipal operations is a merit.
Terms
We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, solution-focused, and enjoys working both independently and in collaboration with others. You have good initiative, a professional demeanor, and can express yourself well both verbally and in writing. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
A Class B driver's license, basic English skills, and good computer skills are requirements for the position.
