We are now looking for a construction manager for our growing infrastructure team - a person driven by working with bridges, quays, and other complex structures.
Job Description
As a construction manager at Ingenjörsfirman, you work with inspiring infrastructure projects and are responsible for, among other things, site management, coordination between operations and production, finances, inspection work, scheduling, quality, environmental and occupational health and safety matters. Your technical expertise and passion for quality will be crucial for delivering on our clients' high expectations.
You will work as a consultant based in Karlskrona, and become part of an experienced team where we support each other, and which is now looking for a driven and competent colleague who wants to complement our department.
The role will strengthen an existing project where several of your future colleagues are engaged today. The work is classified for security purposes and requires security clearance.
Your Responsibilities:
Construction and quality management.
Monitoring of time, budget, and quality.
Estimates and cost assessments.
Collaboration with internal departments, external parties, and clients to ensure smooth and successful projects.
Development and implementation of technical solutions that meet project requirements.
Technical evaluations and analyses in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
Development of existing and new assignments.
Work is primarily Monday through Friday 07:30-16:30. You have great freedom to plan your own time and where you work. It is the project's needs, in combination with your circumstances, that set the boundaries.
Who We Are Looking For
You have several years of experience independently planning and managing infrastructure projects.
Requirements:
At least five years of experience in construction management or equivalent expertise in, for example, quay or bridge construction.
Concrete Class 1 certification.
Good understanding of the construction process and regulatory/industry requirements.
Good experience with document management in projects, AMA construction, and contract law.
Experience with finances, budgeting, and procurement.
Class B driver's license.
Meritorious:
Underwater casting certificate.
Experience in consultant, client, or contractor roles.
Experience in quality work.
Bas-P/U
We view relevant education positively, but it is not a requirement.
