As a child health clinic nurse with us, you will work at a family center whose goal is to achieve good and equitable health for expecting parents, parents, children, and other important adults around the child. The family center is an arena where the municipality and region collaborate and implement joint early interventions. At Varberga child health clinic, we also work with expanded home visits, which means that during the child's first 1.5 years, we conduct more home visits together with the municipality's social workers. Additionally, we are facing an exciting new construction with planned completion in 2030.
Job Responsibilities
Your work is characterized by independent work with the child's best interest in focus, where active support to the guardians is of utmost importance. The duties include health examinations, home visits, health-promoting and parent-supporting conversations, counseling, and vaccinations—all in accordance with the child health care base program and guidelines. You will work together with other child health clinic nurses and will be offered skills development through Child Health Care network meetings.
Qualifications
Licensed nurse with a specialist nurse degree in community health nursing or pediatric nursing, preferably with prior experience working at a child health clinic. You have the ability to work independently and in a structured manner and can take personal responsibility. You work well in a team and enjoy sharing your experiences while contributing to a good and pleasant work environment at the health center.
