Ludza Municipality announces an open competition for a Building Inspector position at the Ludza Municipal Building Authority (for an indefinite period). Key job responsibilities: - Monitor the legality of the construction process in accordance with applicable regulations and Ludza Municipality's territorial development planning documents; - Conduct regular inspections of construction sites during construction works; - Monitor the progress of construction work within Ludza Municipality's territory; - Monitor the safety of buildings in operation; - Accept buildings into operation by assessing their readiness for operation and compliance with applicable construction regulations and building plans, drafting acceptance acts; - Prepare and initiate administrative procedures to remedy illegal construction; - Enter all necessary information into the Construction Information System (BIS) required for the operation of Ludza Municipality's Building Authority; - Review and prepare responses to submissions from legal entities and individuals. Requirements for candidates: - Secondary-level professional higher education in construction or architecture; - Excellent knowledge of the state language (C1 level); - Building practice certificate; - Preferred: Registration in the building inspectors register in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 499 of 19.08.2014 "Regulations on Building Inspectors"; - Preferred: Professional work experience in state or municipal institutions; - Understanding of building authority operations and organizational structure; - Knowledge of applicable regulations in the field of authority competence and ability to navigate them; - Knowledge of document development, formatting and storage; - Good cooperation and communication skills, ability to work in a team; - High contact culture, sense of responsibility and accuracy; - Ability to work with large volumes of information; - Skills in information technology and office equipment, ability to work with electronic document management systems; - Category B driving license. The position is classified under profession classifier code 242254, job family 48, level V, salary group 11. We offer: - Full-time responsible work for an indefinite period; - Monthly salary from 1600 EUR to 2570 EUR before taxes, depending on qualifications.
