Now we're looking for a committed retail sales associate with extended responsibility, or as we say – assistant store manager, who wants to work 30 hours a week with us!
Your Role
As an assistant store manager at Lidl, you have a key role! You are the face of our company to our customers and for you, the customer is always number one. You are expected to be a role model in daily store operations and ensure that our stores maintain a high standard and exceed customer expectations every day. Beyond this, it's also part of your role to be a good colleague and support the team toward great results.
The role includes tasks such as:
• Ensure and deliver excellent customer service in the store
• Participate in daily work in an exemplary manner, which includes unpacking goods and ensuring shelves are well-stocked, ensuring freshness and expiration dates on products, keeping the store clean and fresh, and serving customers at the checkout
• Contribute to the store living up to our core values of customer friendliness, product availability, freshness, cleanliness, and profitability
• Support in training new colleagues
• Take greater responsibility for store operations including key metrics when the store manager and sales manager are not present
Your Profile
We're looking for someone who is responsible, has a good sense of customer service, and is a skilled problem solver. You enjoy planning and work management, and you're driven by working results-oriented and contributing to the store's success in a fast-paced environment. It's an advantage if you have ambitions to develop toward a management position in store operations in the future.
• We see it as positive if you have experience working in a service-oriented industry
• You are flexible with working hours and have a positive attitude toward changes
• You speak fluent Swedish in both speech and writing
• Based on the nature of the work tasks and the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2023:2, ch. 8 and appendix 2), you need to be at least 18 years old

The position is a permanent employment with an initial probation period of 30 hours per week. Since the store is open every day of the week, work will be scheduled with early morning shifts, day shifts, evening shifts, and weekend shifts included.
