Do you love food and are ready for a career where people are at the center? At City Gross, everything we do is about helping and inspiring our customers to live better lives. Our heart beats a little extra for fresh produce and we believe in people. We believe we become better when we have different backgrounds and experiences. Whether you're showcasing freshly harvested vegetables, cutting a perfect piece of meat, ensuring shelves are always well-stocked, or creating campaigns that meet our customers' needs, everyone here is here for one reason: to create an amazing customer experience.
About the Job
Position: Temporary role, 25 hours per week until 2027-01-03.
Start date: 2026-09-28 or by agreement.
Work hours: Early mornings, late evenings, and weekends are a natural part of the work.
You put the finishing touch on the customer experience
You have the chance to make a big impact on our customers' visits, so you have an important mission to make the customer experience smooth and pleasant. This can mean a friendly smile, an unexpected question, or a helpful attitude, so the customer finds what they need in the store. You should make sure the customer leaves satisfied – and hopefully with an extra item in their basket and a good feeling!
What will you do?
Each day brings new encounters and challenges, but some of your main tasks are:
Ensure customers leave the store with a smile (and maybe an extra item or new inspiration).
Work with stock replenishment, orders, and create a pleasant store environment with well-stocked and attractive shelves.
Contribute to offering our customers fresh and inspiring fresh produce departments.
Collaborate with colleagues throughout the store – we're a team and help where needed!
Who Are You?
You're a natural problem-solver who enjoys speed and energy. A friendly hello and an extra helping hand are a given for you. Do you have a strong interest in food and selling products? Great! If you've worked in retail before – even better!
We believe you:
Have a high school education and speak and write Swedish fluently. Since our customers speak more languages than that, it's fantastic if you do too.
Love meeting customers and believe service should be genuine and engaged.
Like doing things together and contribute with energy and joy.
Are curious, solution-oriented, and see when something needs to be done and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves to get it done!
What Do You Get?
Secure conditions – We have collective agreements with Handels and Unionen.
Affordable grocery basket – You get employee discount on everything from fancy weekend dinners to quick weekday solutions.
Parental leave with extra security – we offer enhanced parental benefits according to collective agreement so you can enjoy your new family member a little extra.
A healthier and more energetic body and mind – We care about your health and offer wellness allowance, so you can stay active in the way that suits you best.
Real career opportunities – With us, there's a chance to grow! Many of our store managers started exactly where you are now.
Sounds like something for you? Send in your application – we look forward to meeting you!
