At Willys, we work every day to deliver Sweden's most affordable groceries, so more people can eat well every day. A job at Willys is simply a job that does good and feels right. Welcome to Willys. We need everyone.
About the Job
We're looking for someone who loves food, people, and sales, and wants to be part of our great team at Willys Vellinge Kompanigatan! In short, this position means you'll help our customers shop for good and sustainable food at really great prices.
Position Details: Permanent employment at 32 hours per week, with a trial period.
Start Date: 2026-10-05 or by agreement.
Work Hours: You will rotate between early mornings, daytime, evenings, and weekends.
Requirements: High school diploma, fluent Swedish (spoken and written). We welcome applicants of all ages, but according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2 chapter 8 and appendix 2, we do not employ people under 18 years old due to the nature of the work tasks.
Here's more about the position:
Together with your colleagues, you'll handle the daily store operations, such as keeping the store well-stocked and looking great.
You'll meet our customers with knowledge, sensitivity, and a big smile, whether they need help finding an item or paying for it.
After a while, you'll also place orders, plan sales, and help the store reach its sales and profitability goals.
About Us
For us, the right attitude and willingness to develop matter more than experience and education. We work together as a team, because we believe real collaboration gives the best results—and we have fun at work.
A bit more about us:
We're covered by the Commerce Employees' collective agreement, which includes fair conditions such as pension, insurance, and good overtime compensation.
You'll receive wellness benefits, employee discounts, and special employee offers after some time with us.
Our core mission is to ensure everyone can afford good food. For example, we open our own stores in socially disadvantaged areas and help others open social grocery stores.
Sustainability matters to us, and we work to reduce food waste.
We give you great opportunities to grow through different responsibilities and training. Many who started as store associates at Willys are now team leaders, store managers, or have specialist roles at our support office.

See when something needs to be done, roll up your sleeves, and get it done.
It's an advantage if you've worked in retail or customer service, but it's not required.
You speak, write, and understand Swedish. Many of our customers speak more than one language, so if you do too, that's excellent!
