At Willys, we work every day to deliver Sweden's cheapest grocery basket, so more people can eat good food every day. A job at Willys is simply a job that does good and feels good—for more people. Welcome to Willys. We need everyone.
We're looking for you who love food, people, and sales, and want to become part of our wonderful team at Willys Falköping Ålleberg Center! The job is simply about helping our customers shop for good and sustainable food at really great prices.
Job details: Permanent employment at 26 hours per week, probation period applies
Start date: By agreement
Work hours: You will vary between working early mornings, daytime, evenings, and weekends
Requirements: Secondary education, good knowledge of Swedish (spoken and written). We welcome applicants of all ages, but due to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2 chapter 8 and appendix 2, we do not employ people under 18 years old due to the nature of the work tasks.
More about the job:
Together with your colleagues, you manage the varied daily operations in the grocery department, such as ensuring the store is well-stocked and looks good. You may also work with picking, packing, and delivery of e-commerce items.
You meet our customers with knowledge, tact, and a big smile, whether the customer needs help finding a product or paying for it.
After a while, you will also place orders and plan sales, as well as contribute to the store reaching its sales and profitability goals.
About us
For us, the right attitude and willingness to develop are more important than experience and education. We work together as a team, because we see that true good teamwork gives the best results—while having fun at work.
More about us:
We are affiliated with the Retail Employees' collective agreement, which includes great terms such as pensions, insurance, and good overtime compensation.
You receive wellness benefits, employee discount, and employee offers after a period of employment.
Our big heart issue is ensuring everyone can afford good food. We open our own stores in socially disadvantaged areas and help others open social grocery stores.
Sustainability is important to us and we always work to reduce our food waste.
We give you great opportunities to grow through various areas of responsibility and training. Many who started their journey as store associates at Willys are today team leaders, store managers, or have a specialist role at our support office.

About you
Willys grows and develops all the time, and you like to do that too. You want to learn new things, enjoy being challenged, and are driven by taking greater responsibility. It's also great if you:
Notice when something needs to be done, roll up your sleeves, and get it done.
It's an advantage if you have worked in retail or service, but it's not a requirement.
You speak, write, and understand Swedish. Many of our customers speak more than one language, so if you do too, that's great!
