We are all different. And that's wonderful! We don't hire people based on a certain template, but based on who you are. For us, drive and personality are more important than experience and background. We're doing well, and we're growing fast. Now we're looking for more happy employees with the right attitude and a willingness to develop!
About the job
We're looking for you if you enjoy food, people, and sales and want to become part of our great team at Willys Väsby Centrum! In the checkout line, we help our customers check out their items, which makes the department an important place in the store where we have the chance to make a good final impression.
The position involves: Permanent employment at 8 hours per week, probation applies.
Start date: September 28, 2026, or by agreement.
Working hours: You will vary between working early mornings, daytime, evenings, and weekends.

We welcome applicants of all ages, but with reference to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2 chapter 8 and appendix 2, we do not employ people under 18 years of age due to the nature of the work tasks.
Here's a bit more about the position:
Together with your colleagues, you manage the daily operations in the checkout line.
You ensure that our customers can complete their purchases in a good and smooth way using our checkout options.
In the checkout line, you meet lots of customers daily, always with great energy, knowledge, a keen attention to detail, and a big smile.
About us
For us, the right attitude and willingness to develop are more important than experience and education. We work together as a team, as we see that real good collaboration gives the best results – while also having fun at work.
A bit more about us:
We are bound by the Retail Employees' collective agreement, which includes good terms such as pensions, insurance, and good overtime compensation.
You receive wellness benefits, employee discounts, and employee offers after a period of employment.
Our big heart issue is ensuring that everyone can afford good food. We open, for example, our own stores in socially disadvantaged areas and help others open social food stores.
Sustainability is important to us, and we work, for example, to constantly reduce our food waste.
We give you great opportunities to grow through various areas of responsibility and training. Many who started their journey as retail associates at Willys are today team leaders, store managers, or have a specialist role at our support office.

About you
Willys is constantly growing and developing, and you like to do that too. You want to learn new things, enjoy being challenged, and are driven by taking on greater responsibility. It's also great if you:

See when something needs to be done, roll up your sleeves, and get it done.
It's an advantage if you've worked in retail or service, but it's not a requirement.
You speak, write, and understand Swedish. Many of our customers speak more than one language, so if you do the same, that's great!
