As a store detective, you will work to prevent and reduce shoplifting, theft, and shrinkage in retail environments. The role is a varied position where no two days are alike, as you will visit several different stores during your shift. In case of any crime, you will intervene and then contact the police. You will, for example: Conduct inspections at our retail customers. Cooperate with police in case of any crimes. Work preventively by monitoring stores' security procedures. This role is right for you if you are decisive and not afraid to work in challenging environments or confrontations. Often the store detective role is flexible, which means you can, if needed, combine work as a store detective with other tasks within Securitas. Requirements Passed grades in Swedish from the first year of upper secondary school Good knowledge of English Category B driver's license Passed VU1 training Meritorious if you have worked with similar tasks previously have civil or military security guard training are trained as a store detective As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized and can handle periods of high work pace. You need to be confident and secure in yourself, be interested in technology, and have an easy time understanding instructions.
