About the Role

As a store detective, you will work to prevent and reduce shoplifting, theft, and loss in retail environments. The role is varied, with no two days being the same, as you will visit several different stores during your shift. If a crime occurs, you will intervene and then call the police to the scene.
For example, you will:
Conduct inspections at our retail customers.
Collaborate with police in the event of crimes.
Work preventively by checking stores' security procedures.
This position suits you if you are decisive and unafraid to work in challenging environments. The store detective role is often flexible, which means you can, if needed, combine work as a store detective with other tasks within Securitas. The job will involve day/evening shifts. You will work as an undercover store detective. We are seeking both a full-time position and a position for flexible staffing.

Requirements
The role requires a certified Store Detective qualification
Approved grades in Swedish from the first year of upper secondary school
Good English skills
Category B driving license
As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized, and can handle periods of high work tempo. You are interested in technology and find it easy to understand instructions. We see that you are an independent person who trusts your own abilities, quickly identifies problems, and solves them creatively. You have a systematic and thorough approach with an eye for detail. The position is full-time and part-time with start date 15/10 or by agreement. We apply a 6-month probation period.

For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, you must have approved grades from the first year of upper secondary school in Swedish and be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment at an authorized security company under the Security Company Act (1974:191). Depending on the position, a security clearance under the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be required.
