About the Role & Job At Connect Bus, we play a crucial role in promoting sustainability and growth while providing valuable public services. By offering reliable public transportation, we enable daily commuting, schooling, and travel for thousands of people every day. As a mechanic with us, you play a central role in daily operations. You are part of our workshop team where you collectively take responsibility for servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of our buses. You ensure that vehicles meet the highest standards regarding safety, performance, and reliability before returning to service. We offer you secure employment under applicable collective agreements. Main Responsibilities: Perform service, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on our vehicles with high quality and professionalism. Work systematically with troubleshooting and assess repair needs in close consultation with management. Ensure that work is carried out according to professional standards and applicable safety procedures. Help maintain spare parts inventory and workshop equipment so the workshop is always in good condition. Activly participate in improvement work and contribute to a safe, organized, and pleasant work environment. Who Are You? Qualifications Requirements: Vehicle technology training (or equivalent documented experience as a mechanic for heavy vehicles/buses). Documented experience with service, maintenance, and mechanical work. Experience with systematic troubleshooting and vehicle diagnostics. Good computer skills. Good knowledge of Swedish (spoken and written) and understanding of English (technical English). Driver's license with at least B category.
