Bus Driver for Osby / School Bus Driver About the Company Axelssons Turisttrafik and Ellénius Buss merged in 2020 to create a stronger and more competitive player in the bus and transport services market. We are experiencing rapid expansion and continue to grow. As a group, we operate a fleet of approximately 190 modern vehicles and employ over 400 people, offering charter and school transportation services throughout much of Sweden. Among other responsibilities, we have the honored task of managing school transportation for primary schools in Osby Municipality. Would you like to join us as one of Axelssons' bus drivers? Axelssons Turisttrafik AB is now hiring a dedicated, confident, and service-oriented bus driver for our operations in Osby. The position starts as hourly employment as needed, with excellent prospects for transitioning to a permanent position at 70% within a short time. This role is perfect for you if you want flexible work with significant responsibility, where you drive modern vehicles and become an important part of children's school days. About the Position Driving a school bus involves tremendous responsibility and the trust that parents, schools, and children place in us. As a bus driver, you hold a key role in our organization. You ensure that our passengers feel safe, welcomed, and have a secure and pleasant journey. You will, among other things: Operate modern and safe vehicles in Osby and surrounding areas. Be responsible for safety regarding school transportation and local traffic assignments. Work alongside dedicated and knowledgeable colleagues. Be the face of Axelssons Turisttrafik to the public. We are Looking for Someone Who: Holds a Category D driver's license and valid YKB certification, which is a requirement. Has at least 1-2 years of experience in the bus industry. Is confident, stable, and safe behind the wheel. Has a strong service orientation and enjoys meeting people of different ages. Has good teamwork skills and is punctual and thorough. Speaks Swedish fluently to communicate with passengers, schools, and traffic control. Is flexible and able to work on an as-needed basis to start. It is advantageous if you have prior experience with school transportation, line services, or charter services. Who Are You? Every trip is a matter of trust.
