Open Position – Bus Driver to our Kalmar Depot Do you want to be part of our team and drive for sustainable travel in the future? We are now recruiting motivated bus drivers to our depot in Kalmar to operate the traffic we provide for Blekingetrafiken on the coastal bus line 500 between Kalmar and Karlskrona. We are seeking staff for both full-time and part-time positions. About the Job At Connect Bus, we play a crucial role in promoting sustainability and growth while delivering valuable public services. By operating scheduled bus routes, we enable daily commuting, school transportation, and travel for thousands of people every day. As a bus driver, you are our face to the public and the most important link in the passenger experience. Your main task is to operate the bus safely, smoothly, and environmentally responsibly, always focusing on safety and excellent customer service. About You We are looking for someone who enjoys being behind the wheel and meeting people every day. You have good driving skills, feel confident handling large vehicles in varying traffic conditions, and have a strong focus on traffic safety and passenger comfort. Qualifications and Requirements Valid driver's license with D category. Valid YKB (Professional Competence Certificate) for buses. Digital driver's card (tachograph card). Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing (for safe communication with passengers and traffic control). Employment Terms Employment type: Permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period. Scope: Full-time or part-time. Weekend work occurs.
