At Transdev, you are an important person – you are a real hero who makes sure every day that our passengers get to school, work, the hospital, or their leisure activities. Without you, Sweden would stop and our everyday life would not run as smoothly.
About you Are you social, responsible, and enjoy helping people while feeling comfortable behind the wheel? Then being a bus driver is the job for you. You operate the vehicle in a safe and secure manner with environmental thinking as a foundation. You are responsible and can stay calm even in stressful traffic and passenger situations.
You need to hold a valid:
Category D driving license
Professional Competence Certificate (YKB)*
Driver card for digital tachograph according to the Transport Agency
And be fluent in Swedish in speech and writing
A typical working day You always start and end your working day at the depot in Rättvik. Working hours vary depending on the timetable and your work schedule. As a temporary employee with us, there are plenty of shifts available to be assigned. Our buses operate in scheduled service every day of the year, around the clock.
It is a varied job with lots of personal responsibility while also being a social job. Even though you drive the same route, you meet new people every day. You are there to answer questions that passengers may have along the way.
In addition, you report any traffic disruptions, discrepancies, and vehicle faults to the traffic control center.
You are simply the public face of public transport and your main task is to give our passengers a simple, safe, and pleasant journey!
About Transdev Dalarna We operate scheduled service in Dalarna and today our driver team consists of more than 250 drivers. As a bus driver at our depot, you will work among colleagues with fine cohesion and warm team spirit. Many have long experience in the industry and we share, figuratively and literally, knowledge and expertise along the way. We strive to create attractive public transport with the passenger in focus!
