The Role
We're looking for a Business Manager in Linköping who wants to help shape something truly new and valuable. Not maintain a legacy – but lay the foundation for one.
You're stepping into leadership of the DevDesign business area – electrical design, mechanics, and product development – with everything that entails: freedom, responsibility, and an organization built for movement rather than hierarchy. There are no thick manuals here on how things should be done, but there is a clear direction, clear goals, and clear values that guide you right.
You own three things: your consultants, your customers, and your culture. You shape the rest yourself.
What You Actually Do
You recruit, onboard, and develop consultants in electrical design, mechanics, and product development – and build a team you're genuinely proud of
You own the entire employee journey: from the recruitment process to individual development plans, coaching, and that dinner when something worth celebrating happens
You build customer relationships that last – and create new business with the balance between customer satisfaction, profitability, and consultant drive as your compass
You sit in the local management group and help set the direction for Östergötland while also contributing to the bigger picture
You're the culture carrier who ensures pride and energy grow as fast as the business
You're Probably This Person
You have some years of experience as a consultant manager, business developer, or in a similar role within product development. You know how to read a business situation and you have a network to open doors with – but what really drives you is something more fundamental: you genuinely like people.
You build relationships that last – with customers who trust you and consultants who know you're in their corner. Not because it's in your job description, but because trust is what you're interested in building long-term. You're equally comfortable in a deep 1:1 with a consultant thinking about their career as you are in a strategic customer meeting where you need to close the deal.
You're driven and goal-focused – but not in a way that cuts corners. You challenge yourself, maintain high business ethics and integrity, and always put the team before your own agenda. Unpretentious isn't a word you need to explain – it's just who you are.
