ALTEN Sweden is looking for a Business Developer to join an exciting assignment within a leading international technology organization.
In this role, you will combine finance, controlling, business development, and strategic project management to support financial governance, improve decision-making, and drive cross-functional initiatives. You will work in a dynamic R&D environment, collaborating with stakeholders across multiple business areas and international organizations.
About the Role
As a Business Developer Controlling, you will:
Drive strategic finance and controlling initiatives
Develop and improve financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and follow-up processes
Analyze financial data and identify key business drivers to support decision-making
Support prioritization of investments together with business stakeholders
Develop financial governance models, management processes, and internal controls
Clarify financial roles, responsibilities, and interfaces across organizations
Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects involving senior stakeholders
Identify opportunities to leverage digitalization and AI to improve financial processes and business performance
Support financial activities related to externally funded projects when applicable
Who You Are
We are looking for a professional with:
At least 5 years of experience within Finance, Controlling, Business Development, or a related field
Strong project management experience in cross-functional environments
Solid knowledge of financial analysis, business controlling, and accounting principles
Experience working with senior stakeholders and management teams
Experience using Power BI or similar data analytics and visualization tools
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering & Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
Excellent communication skills in English
Meritorious Experience
It is considered a strong advantage if you have:
Experience from R&D organizations, engineering environments, or other complex industrial businesses
Experience with external funding programs, grants, audits, compliance, or financial reporting regulations
Experience driving business transformation and process improvement initiatives
Knowledge of AI-driven solutions and digitalization within finance
Swedish, German, or Portuguese language skills
