About the Assignment
Would you like to work in a business-focused role where you can combine controlling, analysis, and operational development in an international environment? We are now seeking a Business Controller for a consulting assignment with a global company in the industrial and marine sectors.
You will become part of the Purchasing Strategy & Business Development team and play a central role in supporting the procurement organization with financial analyses, forecasts, and decision-making materials. The role involves close collaboration with both the procurement operations and the company's central finance and controlling functions.
About the Role
As a Business Controller, you will contribute analyses and financial insights that support the organization's decision-making and development. You will work closely with multiple parts of the organization and have the opportunity to influence operations through data-driven analyses, improvement initiatives, and business recommendations.
Your Main Responsibilities
Responsible for analyses related to monthly closing, reporting, and monitoring of KPIs and key metrics.
Develop budget materials, forecasts, and financial analyses.
Analyze investments related to production tools, capacity, risks, and resource planning.
Contribute financial analyses and decision-making materials in cross-functional projects, investigations, and improvement initiatives.
Manage and follow up on issues related to supplier invoices.
Contribute financial expertise in procurement-related projects and business cases.
Conduct scenario analyses and evaluations of material and procurement costs.
Support and train procurement professionals and project managers in financial processes and methods.
Participate in special projects and other procurement-related activities as needed.
What We Are Looking For
Academic degree in economics, business administration, finance, or equivalent.
2-5 years of experience as a Business Controller or in a similar role. Experience with financial monitoring, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Experience from procurement and/or the automotive industry is a merit.
Strong proficiency in SAP, Essbase, or equivalent business and financial systems.
Very good knowledge of Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft 365.
Fluent English, spoken and written.
