We are now seeking a business-driven successor to our Business Controller in Vingåker who has decided to retire in spring 2027.
The role reports to Finance/IT Director, Nammo Sweden.
About the Role
Nammo Sweden combines the Finance function with IT and business systems. Finance is divided into two functional tracks: Finance Control and Business Control. Finance Control is responsible for accounting and reporting, among other things. Business Control focuses on reporting and describing the business's expected and actual performance, budgets and forecasts, and supports decision-making regarding customer contracts and investments.
In this role, you work closely with Business Controllers at other sites within Nammo Sweden and Finance Control colleagues for Nammo Sweden, as well as the Business Controller for the Small and Medium Caliber Ammunition business area of the group. You also collaborate closely with the local management team and Nammo Sweden's shared business support functions. The purpose of these collaborations is to support the continued development of continuously improved operations in Vingåker. Reporting is to the Finance & IT Director for Nammo Sweden.
Examples of Your Responsibilities:
Ensure the site reports accurate financial results
Develop key performance indicators for the site's financial performance
Contribute to target achievement and continuous improvements for the site
Monitor, analyze, and present financial results for the site
Maintain and develop financial processes on site
Support work on customer order calculations, investments, and projects
Lead the budget, strategic planning, and forecasting processes for the site
Contribute to the site's development in using the business system
Contribute to standardized financial processes across Nammo Sweden
Our Candidate
To succeed in this role, you need a university/college degree in finance. You have at least three years of experience in controlling within manufacturing operations where you have worked with production and product cost models, monitoring production deviations, calculations for customer contracts and investments, budgets and forecasts. It is valuable if you have worked in a matrix organization. Additionally, you have good knowledge of business system architecture and logic, and are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
As a person, you are proactive and initiative-taking with a desire to succeed together with others. You are communicative, have an easy way of establishing new contacts, and are driven to develop your network within Nammo Sweden and the Nammo group. Your work approach is structured and you continuously strive to find better solutions that combine the business area's perspective and requirements with the site's conditions and needs.
