SMT Logistics AB is growing! As a proud subcontractor to Gordon Delivery – one of Sweden's leading last-mile logistics providers – we are now seeking responsible and experienced delivery drivers for our refrigerated transport operations in Gothenburg.
In this role, you will drive temperature-controlled deliveries for some of the market's largest players, including ICA, Coop, Hemköp, Willys, Axfood (Dagab), HelloFresh, and Apoteket.
We're looking for someone who puts quality, accuracy, and service first – every day, every delivery.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivery of temperature-sensitive goods and food boxes to private customers, retailers, and authorized agents.
Daily handling of smartphone, scanning routines, and route navigation.
Loading, unloading, and responsibility for cargo condition and cold chain management.
Customer contact and delivery with high service standards and a positive approach.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
As a delivery driver, you are the face of the company and ensure that every delivery arrives on time with a smile. We're looking for someone who is responsible, service-oriented, and comfortable working independently on the road. You have good physical fitness, are punctual and thorough, and bring a positive attitude in all customer interactions. With flexibility and a solution-focused mindset, you make every route a smooth experience.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience: At least 1 year of documented experience with home deliveries, courier work, or distribution driving. You are accustomed to working in a structured and independent manner.
Driver's License: Valid B-category driver's license and excellent driving experience in city traffic, highways, and motorways. You navigate smoothly even under time pressure.
Language: Good knowledge of Swedish – both spoken and written. Communication with customers and colleagues is a central part of the job.
Physical Fitness: Physical stamina and experience with active work. You have no problem carrying packages, food boxes, and other cargo up stairs when needed.
Technology: Comfortable with technology. You work easily with apps and digital tools to manage routes, notifications, and delivery confirmations.
MERIT FACTORS
Good local knowledge of Gothenburg and other parts of the Västra Götaland region.
Previous experience with refrigerated transport or food distribution specifically.
