About the Operations Within Region Västernorrland, approximately 8 BT positions will be filled in spring 2027 with 12-month employment. We recruit medical residents with the region's future skills supply in focus, and as a BT physician, you are important to us. Our ambition is for you to develop in your residency and also after completing your BT to want to continue being one of us at Region Västernorrland. We offer a developmental medical residency that is well-prepared for specialist practice. We also have one of Sweden's highest medical resident salaries. If you live outside Västernorrland and need to move to do your BT with us, we offer a relocation allowance of up to 20,000kr. BT in Region Västernorrland consists of 12 months of service divided into acute care (17 weeks), psychiatry (10 weeks), and general medicine (17 weeks). You also have the opportunity to extend your service with two weeks of elective placement. For BT physicians in Örnsköldsvik with acute placement in Surgery/Orthopedics, ATLS training is offered. The BT residency begins with joint introduction and training 2027-02-22 - 2027-03-07 (w.8-9). Beyond that, the employment continues with clinical placement either w.10 or w.24.
