The Crime Victims Authority is Sweden's expert agency for crime victim matters. The agency works to improve information and support for crime victims by deciding on crime victim compensation, recovering disbursed compensation from perpetrators, financing research and crime victim-focused projects through the Crime Victims Fund, and serving as a knowledge center on crime victim matters. The agency is located in central Umeå. The Crime Victims Authority reviews applications for crime victim compensation. When compensation is paid out, the agency recovers as much as possible of the disbursed funds. Recovery cases are handled by the recovery unit. We are now seeking one or more preparation assistants for the recovery unit. Your task will be to work closely with other staff to be responsible for clerical functions in the unit. This includes conducting investigations into individuals' personal circumstances, registering cases, filing documents, handling payments, and performing other administrative tasks. You have a secondary school diploma, experience with administrative work, and speak Swedish well. Experience working at a government agency and case management is a merit. Knowledge of other languages is a merit but not required. We are looking for someone who is positive, engaged, and wants to work in an environment where work tasks may vary but perhaps not change fundamentally. You have high work capacity and are stress-resilient. You are skilled at collaboration while being able to work independently and take responsibility for the agency's needs.
