Our client is part of a hotel chain in Gothenburg and is looking to strengthen its breakfast kitchen team. This is an intensive, hands-on role for an experienced kitchen team member who will work as part of a team preparing breakfast for more than 500 guests. The role is not a chef position, but previous professional kitchen or breakfast-cooking experience is required. Location: Gothenburg Who we are looking for: Breakfast cook / Frukostpersonal – kök Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook breakfast dishes as part of the kitchen team serving more than 500 guests - Prepare food and ingredients efficiently before and during a high-volume breakfast service - Replenish and maintain the breakfast buffet when needed - Cook for hotel staff on shifts where this is required - Keep the breakfast kitchen clean, organised and ready for service - Follow food hygiene and safety routines - Support other breakfast stations, including the buffet, dining area and dishwashing, when needed - Work efficiently during busy breakfast periods and prioritise tasks in the right order Requirements: - Basic understanding of Swedish and ability to follow simple instructions - Upper-intermediate working proficiency in English and ability to handle most job-related communication independently - Previous professional experience from a kitchen, breakfast kitchen or similar food-service environment is required - Ability to work intensively at a high pace and prioritise tasks effectively during breakfast service - Ability to work early mornings - Flexibility to work at different stations within the breakfast service when needed Your profile: - You are organised and keep good structure in your work - You are flexible and able to adapt when priorities change - You are stress-resistant and remain positive and focused during busy periods - You are service-minded and enjoy working with people – you will be working in an open kitchen space - You are responsible and understand the importance of hygiene and quality - You work well as part of a kitchen team and are comfortable contributing to high-volume breakfast production What the employer offers: - Part-time employment, approximately 20 hours per week - Possibility to use the hotel chain's staff application to view and pick available shifts at other hotels within the chain - Early-morning shifts - Salary according to the applicable HRF collective bargaining agreement Important: This position is part of a project that is co-funded by the European Union through the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF). The project aims to support third-country nationals in their integration into the Swedish labour market. The participants hold residence permits in Sweden but do not have Swedish citizenship or EU/EEA citizenship.
