Intensive Care Nurse at Burn Center Would you like to combine world-class intensive care with innovation and development? Your Assignment As an intensive care nurse at Burn Center, you care for patients requiring advanced intensive care and intermediate care. Patients often have extensive nursing needs where pain management, nutrition, and wound care are central components of care. You lead and coordinate nursing care for the patient together with an experienced multidisciplinary team. We'll help you realize it. Our Operations Welcome to Sweden's hottest workplace! Burn Center at Akademiska sjukhuset is one of the country's two units providing national highly specialized burn care. Here we admit patients from across Sweden and care for them through the entire care pathway, from the acute phase with advanced intensive care to rehabilitation and discharge. What makes our operations unique is continuity. We follow patients throughout their entire care journey, which creates strong relationships and gives us the opportunity to make a real difference for both patients and family members. The department has its own operating room where many of our patients undergo surgery. We also have outpatient services for follow-up of previously hospitalized patients and treatment of minor burns. With us, doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and social workers work closely together with the patient at the center.
